This Action forms a network of experts and early stage researchers from diverse backgrounds, with significant fundamental and translational research contributions to the areas of medical informatics, health IT, medical devices, clinical innovation, human factors, and business modelling. Bringing this network of expertise together provides a valuable resource in terms of exchange of knowledge regarding the process of technology enabled innovation in health management. Furthermore, there is much to be learned from networking around the multiple approaches to evaluation of the impact of healthcare technology infrastructures and supports. This Action network also facilitates collaboration with community interest companies and not for profit initiatives that are influential in the area of connected health globally.
